Cross-country skiing in the border triangle

CROSS-BORDER CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AREA

As well as skiing, carving and boarding, the Reschenpass skiing paradise also comes first in other disciplines: Your excitement can’t be contained by borders as you explore 90km of cross-country ski tracks in the border triangle where Italy, Austria and Switzerland meet. Here, where the Nordic walking park and walking region take over in summer, cross-country skiers can spend winter getting back into shape: the high altitude at the Reschenpass reinforces the training impact of each form of healthy exercise.

Winter & snow shoe hiking

DISCOVER ISOLATED PLACES

Even away from the slopes, Nauders is a winter wonderland. The snow-covered countryside all around and up to the breathtaking Lake Reschensee is characterised by the impact of various different cultures. Countless groomed winter hiking routes invite you to find a quiet corner and drink in the views. The same goes for snow shoe hikes. If you want to experience powder and firn up close and personal, you can breathe deep on a show shoe hike along one of the many winter routes or don touring skis to leave your tracks on the slopes of the high surrounding mountains. The knowledgeable guides at the Nauderer ski school even offer special snow shoe tours for families.

As you go on a winter hike on over 50km of groomed trails, your mood will effortlessly rise with each step of your ascent in Nauders. Away from the slopes, popular sports like ice climbing, paragliding, ice sailing and snow kiting dominate.

Ice skating, snow tubing & toboggan fun

NAUDERS, A WINTER WONDERLAND

Huge natural stretches of ice, a tubing run and a bobsled run are the latest attractions in Nauder’s new winter wonderland.

The sweet scent of mulled wine and punch tempts you into Alpine chalets and towards the ice skating rink. 15:00 each day is no longer ‘home time’ for the kids, it’s après ski time!

While Mum and Dad enjoy the unique atmosphere and music underneath the illuminated Naudersberg Castle, delicious mulled wine in hand, the kids get their kicks ice skating or sledding. The 8km-long natural toboggan run is a real highlight for families.

Ice skates, curling sticks, bobsleds and tubes can be rented on site.
